One Week to China

Eugene to Seattle: Delta 6855 Saturday, September 29, 11:17 am 
Seattle to Shanghai: Delta 589 Sunday, September 30, 7:15 pm

Looks like we’ll be losing a day somewhere during our 13 hour flight! At least we’ll be arriving at “night,” so we’ll be able (theoretically) to get a good night’s sleep before we jump into Shanghai city life.

Our trip with Overseas Adventure Travel will last almost a month, and will include many of the tourist highlights: Beijing, the Great Wall, the Terracotta Warriors, Tibet, a Yangtze River cruise, a panda sanctuary, and Hong Kong. I don’t want to miss a thing, and I’m just hoping we’ll hold up for it.

We’ll be returning October 24, just in time for the beginning of Eugene’s rainy season. Meanwhile, I will be blogging here as often as I can get internet access. Stop by and see what we’re up to.
