Last year was my first season with Thrill the World Eugene. We dance to Michael Jackson’s Thriller in costume to raise money for Sheltercare, a Eugene organization that provides help for the unhoused in our community. At a designated time near the end of October, our group dances simultaneously with other groups around the world.
I’ve had some physical challenges this year, but I made it to the first practice. If I’m lurching around because my wonky hip is acting up, I guess I’ll just look even more like a zombie.
